Sam has been practicing compassionate psychotherapy since 2005. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Vassar College, and her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Alliant International University. Her dissertation focused on the benefits of time spent in nature, both for the mind and the world. Sam received prestigious psychodynamic clinical training at the Maple Counseling Center as well as the Wright Institute Los Angeles. In addition, Sam has trained in Somatic Experiencing, EMDR, reiki, yoga, and mindfulness meditation.
Dr. Sam Rader is the Founder and Clinical Director of Jade Tree Eastside Holistic Psychotherapy. She is also the Founder & Clinical Director at Sanctuary for Women a therapy clinic for women in Highland Park, Los Angeles. At both centers, Sam serves as the chief supervisor for the clinical team, which includes both licensed and unlicensed therapists.
